What it costs

Every price is on this page. There is no call to find out.

Three ways in, priced so the circle pays for itself and nothing more. No equity, ever – Mosaic does not take a share of your business, and never will.

Monthly payment plans carry no interest.

Applications are open now and close October 9. You are not charged anything when you apply – payment happens only once you have been offered a seat and said yes.

All prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include tax. GST or HST is added at checkout where it applies.

Community-supported places

Two per cohort, at half price. Reduced, never free.

$975 for a full Cohort Core seat – everything included, nothing withheld, no marker on your file.

Paying something is part of how you show up, and we have watched free programs teach people that their time is worth nothing. So the price comes down and it does not disappear.

There is no separate form and no proof of hardship. One tick box inside the ordinary application, and it changes nothing about how we read the rest of your answers.

Where the money actually goes

Aunties & Uncles in the VillagePaid, always
Facilitation, content, Akin, apps, & the ten weeksThe bulk of it
Our Gathering – VancouverSubsidized
Margin to investorsNone – there are none

Once the co-operative is incorporated, surplus goes back into community-supported places rather than out to shareholders. That is the whole reason for choosing this structure.

After the ten weeks

The ten weeks end. The Village does not.

Cohort founders can become member-owners, and most stay. The hours in these tiers are the same Auntie hours as everywhere else on this page – the same people, at the same rate, not a cheaper substitute.

Alumni Track

Stay in the Village without a standing commitment.

$150
a month
One Auntie hour every quarter
The alumni channel and the monthly letter
Akin, Be Ceremonial and every curriculum update
Our Gathering, whenever it runs

Alumni Core

A working rhythm with the Village, month by month.

$250
a month
One Auntie hour every month
Everything in Alumni Track
Priority booking across the Village
Member rate on any extra hours

Alumni Deep

For the year you are building something that needs the room.

$350
a month
Two Auntie hours every month
Everything in Alumni Core
A standing seat at open-enrolment sessions
First call on a cohort seat if you come back

Cancel any month and keep what you have used. Hours are yours for six months after they are earned, so a quiet quarter is not a wasted one. Co-operative membership dues are set by the board once Mosaic is incorporated, and they will be published here before anyone is asked to pay them.

Add-ons and the small print

The things other sites hide at the bottom of a PDF.

Extra Auntie hours

$175 an hour, or $700 for five and $1,300 for ten, available to everyone including Open Track. Hours bought in blocks are valid for twelve months from purchase.

Moving up mid-cohort

Open Track to Cohort Core, or Core to Deep, at any point. You pay the difference and nothing else.

Our Gathering

One day in Vancouver, in December or January. The two cohorts settle the date together in the first few weeks, so you help choose it rather than being told it. Included for cohort founders. Travel and accommodation are yours – we will say what they are likely to cost as soon as the date and venue are fixed.

If you leave early

Withdraw from a cohort before week three and we refund the unused portion. After that we do not, and we will have told you why in week one.

No equity, no revenue share

Mosaic takes no share of your business, no warrant, no future claim. What you build is entirely yours.

What happens to your data

Read only by Rochelle and the review committee. Held confidential, never sold, and never used to train a model without asking you first.

For comparison

A $1,950 seat against a round
you would spend 9 months chasing.

Founders routinely spend the better part of a year courting investors for money that costs them ~20% of the company. Put your own numbers in and see what a round would actually cost you.

What the months cost
$88,000

of revenue you would have built over two years, had five months gone into customers instead of investors.
