Intersectional women, transgender, and non-binary founders – those living at the intersection of two or more identities, whether racial, ethnic, cultural, neurodivergent, older (40+), living with disabilities, or of sexual orientation – who need customers, cash flow and a circle far more than they need a pitch deck. If you are wondering whether you count, please apply and let us answer rather than deciding for us.

Never. How you describe yourself is yours to write, and it is optional. We will never ask you to prove any of it, and you can leave it empty and still be considered.

Yes. Mosaic is open to founders anywhere in the world. You do not need to live in Canada, and you do not need Canadian citizenship or permanent residency. Every session is online.

Yes. You must be 18 or older to apply, to buy a place, or to make or receive a payment through Mosaic. If a founder under 18 takes part, a parent or legal guardian pays for their place and accepts our Terms on their behalf.

One where technology is part of how you deliver value – or where you want it to be. You do not need an app, and you do not need to be technical. A consultancy that runs on booking software counts, and so does an online course; so does a service business that wants to automate the work that eats its week. What we are not built for is a business that would rather technology stayed out of it.

No. Most founders in the room are not. We explain what is going on inside these machines through a chef, a counter and a family cookbook, and by week four you have an AI running that answers real questions about your own documents. We teach judgment about technology, not programming.

Yes. If you have something you believe in and nobody has paid you for it yet, one of our two cohorts is built for exactly that: ten weeks of customer conversations, an offer people say yes to, and the first invoice you send. Most of that room has never charged anyone before. That is normal here.

Yes. The second cohort is for founders already in market whose revenue has flattened: ten weeks on pricing, positioning, the offer, and where the growth actually leaked out. This room moves fastest, because there is already a business to move.

Probably not, and we would rather say so now. A funded, fast-scaling business has usually outgrown what we are best at. Find your program will point you somewhere better suited, including organizations that are not us.

Yes. Co-founders are welcome in the sessions. Apply once for the business, not once per person, and co-founders share the seat’s hours with the Village.

Ten weeks, starting Friday, October 16, 2026. Every session runs from 12 to 2 PM Pacific Time. For the first four weeks both cohorts meet together on Fridays. From week five, one cohort moves to Tuesdays and the other stays on Fridays, through mid-December. The full calendar is on the Apply page.

Put 12 PM Pacific into a time-zone converter for your city. One thing catches people out: clocks change in Europe on October 25 and in North America on November 1, so for the session on October 30 the gap between Vancouver and Europe is an hour shorter than usual.

Plan on five to eight hours a week: the two-hour session, plus the work between sessions.

Online. Sessions run live on Zoom and are scheduled with calendar invites, and the course material is online. Once the ten weeks are done, both cohorts gather for one day in Vancouver, in December or January – included for cohort founders, with travel and accommodation yours to arrange.

A computer or laptop, a webcam, a microphone, and a reliable internet connection – enough to stay engaged in a two-hour live session.

English, with Zoom’s live captions on in every session. If you need something else to take part – material in advance, a different format, more time – tell us and we will arrange it. You do not need a diagnosis, a letter or a reason.

No. Your camera can stay off. If it does, we ask you to take part through the chat and reactions, so the room knows you are there and with it.

Sessions are recorded, but a recording is a safety net, not a substitute – the cohort only works if the people in it show up for each other.

If you cannot make a session, tell us before it starts. That costs you nothing, and it never puts your seat at risk. If you miss sessions without a word, we check in first, then write to you, offer a conversation and give you two sessions to put things right. Only a founder who still does not come back after all of that moves to Open Track for the rest of the ten weeks.

Completing the program means attending at least seven of the ten sessions. The full policy is in our Terms, under “Showing up”.

Seven or eight. There are sixteen seats across the two cohorts, because a cohort of eight only works if the eight recognize each other.

Your stage does, not a day preference. Starting from an idea or your first customers puts you in one room; a business that has stalled puts you in the other.

Only after talking to us and getting our approval. The two rooms are built around stage, so a move has to work for the room you are joining as well as for you.

The whole curriculum is on the Apply page, week by week, before you apply. Most accelerators keep it behind the application. We publish ours, because you deserve to know what you are buying before you buy it.

Akin is an AI guide built by reGEN Impact Media, rooted in kinship and Indigenous values, and available to every founder from day one – cohort or Open Track. It is not coaching and not therapy: it helps you reflect, and then gets out of the way of your own decision. AI, our way sets out what it will and will not do.

No decision about your place at Mosaic is made by a machine – applications are read by people. And nothing of yours goes into a model without you being asked, in words, in advance. Saying no costs you nothing and changes nothing.

Only of people who say yes. There is a photo consent step at the Gathering, and every photograph on this site is of a real person who agreed to be part of the Mosaic community.

Time you book with our Aunties, Uncles and Cousins, spent wherever the work actually is. Book a vocal coach the week before a pitch and a money-trauma coach the week you raise your prices. Nobody has to approve it and nobody asks why. Cohort Core includes 6 hours; Cohort Deep includes 16.

Yes, at any time, and Open Track founders too: $175 for an hour, $700 for five, or $1,300 for ten.

Cancel at least 24 hours ahead and the time stays in your balance. If you do not turn up, or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the time you booked comes out of your hours – the person you booked kept that time for you, and they are paid for it. If a member of the Village cancels on you, the hour goes straight back into your balance. Refunds and cancellation has the details.

They do not vanish. Hours that come with a cohort seat carry for a year after your cohort ends. Hours bought in blocks are valid for twelve months from purchase. Hours earned through an alumni membership are yours for six months from the month they are earned.

Start with the fit check on the Apply page – five questions, nothing stored, nothing scored against you. The application itself takes about twenty minutes, opens with the same five questions, and you can save it and come back.

We confirm by email the same day. Rochelle and a small committee of alumni and Aunties read your application – nobody else. If you are shortlisted, we invite you to a thirty-minute conversation, both ways, because you are deciding about us too. Everyone gets a yes or no in words, within five business days. Never a silent decline: if it is no, we tell you why and where else to look.

Applications are open now. Priority review is October 2, applications close October 9, and everyone starts October 16.

Apply by October 2 and your application is read first, while every seat is still open, and founders who apply early get preferential consideration for a place. We keep reading and deciding until applications close on October 9 – but by then some seats may be gone.

No. You are not charged when you apply or when you are offered a seat. Payment happens only once you have been offered a place and said yes.

You will hear why, in words, and where else to look. You will also have written down what your business does, who pays for it, what is stuck and what would make the next ten weeks count – that document is yours. And Open Track needs no application.

Open Track is $600, Cohort Core is $1,950 and Cohort Deep is $3,200, each with a three-payment option. Every price, and everything each one includes, is on What it costs – there is no call to find out.

The same seat. Deep adds far more time one to one – 16 hours with the Village instead of 6, priority booking, and a named Auntie or Uncle for the ten weeks. It is built for founders already in market who know exactly where they are stuck.

Yes. Every option can be paid in three monthly payments, with no interest and no fee for choosing it.

Two community-supported places in every cohort, at half price – $975 for a full cohort seat. Reduced, never free: paying something is part of how you show up. You ask in the same application, with one tick box. No separate form, no proof of hardship, and it changes nothing about how we read your answers.

Yes – an employer, a family member or an organization can pay your fees. Write to info@mosaicaccelerator.com once you have been offered a place, and we will send them the payment and a receipt.

The same prices, in Canadian dollars – your card converts at its own rate. GST and HST do not apply to founders outside Canada.

Yes. The next intake is Spring 2027. We do not have a date yet, and we will write to you as soon as we do.

Tell us in writing before October 16 and we refund what you have paid, in full. During weeks one and two we refund the unused portion. From week three onward we do not refund cohort fees, and we explain that out loud in week one, before it can cost you anything. If something has gone wrong in your life, write to us before you disappear – we would rather move you to the next intake than lose you. Refunds and cancellation has the full terms.

No. Mosaic takes no share of your business, no warrant, no revenue share and no future claim. What you build is entirely yours.

Everything the cohort gets, except the weekly session: the full ten weeks of material, Akin from day one, the rituals and the community, at your own pace. It is for founders who cannot give a fixed midday every week – childcare, a job, a time zone, a body that does not always cooperate. No application, and enrolment does not close. Open Track has the details.

Yes. The $600 comes off the price of your seat at the next intake.

Graduating from Mosaic means joining it, not leaving it – if you want to. Every founder who completes the program can become a member-owner of the co-operative, the Village stays through alumni membership, and in time the La Sociedad Fund can finance the business it helped you build.

No. Membership is always your choice – we want founders to have agency over what they belong to. Every founder who completes the program will be accepted if they choose to join.

We are asking. The co-op’s founding documents go to a BC co-op lawyer this autumn, and membership for founders outside Canada is one of the questions we have put to them. We will say so here as soon as we know.

Three tiers, from $150 to $350 a month, each with Auntie hours built in. Cancel any month and keep what you have used. What it costs lists what each tier includes.

Rochelle and a small committee of Mosaic alumni and Aunties, and nobody else. We do not sell your details, we do not add you to anything you did not ask for, and we will never train AI on your business without asking you first.

Yes. Every cohort founder signs the cohort confidentiality agreement, and our Terms say it plainly: what is said in a cohort session stays in the cohort, and that binds us as well as you. Breaking the confidence of the room ends a founder’s place, without a refund.

Your cohort, and nobody else – not Open Track, not the Village, not sponsors or partners. Recordings are never used in our marketing, they are covered by the same confidence as the room, and they are deleted sixty days after your cohort’s final session. Privacy has the details.

Not everyone feels comfortable with a gendered label, so “Cousin” is for anyone who would rather not have one. Aunties, Uncles and Cousins are the people founders book by the hour. Madrinas arrive with the co-operative: they sit in the peer lending circles rather than the booked hours, and we will name them once it is incorporated.

An Auntie tells you the truth and still feeds you. An Auntie is not evaluating you for a decision they are about to make, is not a step on a ladder, and has no stake in your compliance. They will tell you your pricing is wrong, and then ask whether you have eaten. Both of those are the work.

If you have done the thing, come and say how. We are looking for people who work well with founders who have been talked down to before. Put your name forward on the Village page.

It depends on your availability and on what the founders you work with need. Typically we ask the Village for at least two hours a month, though the real number may be higher or lower depending on your circumstances. We will work with you to find a schedule that works.

Yes – for every hour with a founder, and for any work we invite you to do, at our standard hourly rate. Nobody is asked to work for exposure. Too often, women, transgender, and non-binary people are asked to volunteer their time – not at Mosaic.

You invoice us, in Canadian dollars. Within Canada we pay by e-transfer; outside Canada, through PayPal. Village members are independent contractors, so any transfer fees or currency conversion, and your own taxes, are yours.

You receive Welcome to the Village, our onboarding package, and sign a contractor agreement and a confidentiality agreement. And you are invited to The Kitchen Table, an optional online orientation offered at several different times, where you meet the rest of the Village, ask questions and learn how Mosaic works.

We recommend it, but we do not require it. Professional liability insurance – sometimes called errors and omissions insurance – protects you in your work with founders, and we strongly suggest carrying it. We do not make it a condition, so that cost is never what keeps someone out of the Village.

Founders bring you their real numbers and their real worries, and they need to know those stay with you. Every member of the Village signs one, as part of Welcome to the Village.

Founders choose. Hours are spent across the whole Village, and nobody is assigned to anyone. The exception is Cohort Deep, where each founder has a named Auntie or Uncle for the ten weeks.

Yes – the Village can be anywhere. We pay in Canadian dollars.

If you choose to. Our Aunties, Uncles, Cousins and Madrinas can become Supporter Members of the co-op – the people who give time. Membership is always a choice.

Only with your agreement. Every photograph on this site is of a real person who agreed to be part of the Mosaic community, and we will never generate a face, a voice or a quotation for anyone.

Yes, for a named person who has applied – an employer supporting its own founder, for example. Never as a way around admissions: every application is read on its own merits, whoever is paying.

We thank sponsors for what they made possible, never for whom. A gift with a name attached is a debt, and no founder should ever feel they owe anyone for their place.

Sponsors can be named in the story of how Mosaic came to be, on our About page; once a year on Impact, in totals – places funded, hours given, bursaries paid; out loud at Our Gathering; and in the monthly letter. Never on an application, in a session, on the wall of founder milestones, or beside an individual founder.

You choose whether to be named. Anonymous is always an option, and individual donors stay anonymous unless they ask otherwise.

Yes. One hour, $175, given to a founder in the current cohort. You will not be told who receives it, and they will not be told who paid. That is deliberate: a gift with a name attached is a debt. The Village page has the link.

Mosaic is not a charity, so we cannot issue charitable tax receipts. We do provide a receipt for every gift and sponsorship.

Not yet. Once the co-operative is incorporated, we will publish guidelines for how that can work. For now, partners can offer their services, their physical space and their networks to the Mosaic community.

Not yet, and no money is being raised. The co-operative is being formed, not finished: the founding documents are drafts going to a BC co-op lawyer this autumn, and no shares are being sold to anyone. You can tell us you want to be counted on the Co-op page, and we will come back to you when membership actually opens. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell securities or an invitation to invest.

We keep milestones, not testimonials: first customers, first $1,000 month, first employee, still operating in Year 3. We refuse to count applications received, social media reach or satisfaction scores. We ask alumni once a year, in writing, and publish the results on Impact annually, including the years the numbers are worse.
